How It Works
WingMann is a private introduction network. An operator holds the relationships, decides who should meet whom, and stands behind every connection they make. The app is what keeps it organized and honest.
In One Sentence
It's a referral network with one gatekeeper and a paper trail.
Everybody already does referrals — badly, from memory, with no follow-up and no record of who caused what. WingMann makes one person accountable for doing them well, and gives everyone involved a place to see what happened.
You don't sign up. A WingMann operator adds you to their network with your name, your company, and a short description of what you do and who you want to meet.
Scan the operator's QR code or open the link they send you. Your portal opens immediately — no password, no onboarding flow. You can set a password later if you want to come back without the link.
The directory shows you what's in the network — industries, services, and what each member offers. It does not show you their names. You see the opportunity, not the contact.
Tap a listing and ask. Your operator decides whether it's a genuine fit, briefs both sides on why the conversation is worth having, and then connects you directly.
You get full contact details and — attached to every introduction — your operator's reason for making it. Both parties already know why they're talking. Nobody gets cold-pitched.
If the conversation becomes a deal, it's tracked in your portal through every stage. If commission is involved, the terms are written and signed by both parties before the introduction happens — not argued about afterward.
Everyone you've been introduced to, with full contact details and the reason the introduction was made.
Anonymized listings by category. Tap one to request an introduction.
Any commission terms awaiting your signature — full terms visible before you sign anything.
Live status on anything in motion: in discussion, reviewing, passed, or agreed.
Because the operator's relationships are the thing that makes an introduction worth having. If the directory were a list of names and numbers, it would be a lead list — and a warm introduction would become a cold call. You see what someone does and what they're looking for. The operator supplies the trust.
Nothing. Members join by invitation and pay nothing to be in the network or to receive introductions. Commission only enters the picture when a business asks to be actively represented, and those terms are agreed in writing first.
LinkedIn gives you access to everyone and a vouch from nobody. Here, one person stakes their own reputation on every introduction they make — which is why they don't make many, and why the ones they make tend to go somewhere.
No weekly meetings, no referral quotas, no fixed chapter. You're not pitching a room. Introductions are made for you, one at a time, when there's an actual reason.
A professional connector who has spent years building the relationships in their network. They work the network year-round and work the floor in person at trade shows, conferences, and private events. Each operator runs their own directory.
Ask your operator directly. If they know the person, they'll tell you honestly whether the introduction makes sense — and if it doesn't, they'll tell you that too. That candor is the whole value.
Your name and contact details are visible to your operator and to people you've actually been introduced to. Your public directory listing shows only your category and the description you approve. Nothing else is exposed.
If an operator gave you a code, enter it and you're in. If not, tell us who you are and what you're looking for.
